In Lebanon, a Muslim cannot get married to a Christian, without either changing their religion. In order to celebrate creativity for progressive change, this Absolut campaign brought inter-religious civil marriage the closest it has ever been to Lebanon: only 12 miles off Lebanese shores, in international waters where Lebanese marital law no longer applies. As a world-first, the Civil Love boat set sail to marry inter-religious couples and celebrate unity & love in a country torn by Civil War.
