Job Overview

The Business Director will spearhead the company’s strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth and enhance client satisfaction. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing key client relationships, and leading a team to achieve monthly and annual targets. The ideal Business Director will  have 7+ years of equivalent managerial position,oversee budget management, stay abreast of market trends, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term retention. Develop and nurture strong, trust-based relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and objectives. Lead client meetings, presentations, and strategic discussions, providing insights and guidance.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including pitching for new clients and expanding existing client accounts. Develop and implement growth strategies in alignment with agency goals, focusing on market expansion and revenue targets. Collaborate with the leadership team to create proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Oversee the Riyadh-based team, fostering a collaborative, high-performing work environment. Mentor and develop team members, promoting professional growth and aligning team efforts with agency goals. Manage resource allocation and workflow to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets for client projects, ensuring profitability and cost efficiency. Monitor and report on financial performance, including revenue, profit margins, and expenses. Collaborate with the finance team to prepare forecasts and contribute to the overall financial health of the agency.
  • Market Insights and Innovation: Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and potential areas for growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in a senior client services or business development role within a creative or marketing agency
  • Proven track record in managing client relationships and driving business growth
  • Strong understanding of the Saudi market, including cultural, social, and economic factors
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external clients.
  • Experience with budget management and financial forecasting.
  • Knowledge of current business trends and best practices
